A hotel is so much more than a building with lots of bedrooms, it is a portal into a city. Often our very first glimpse of a new place is from the window of a hotel. And if the hotel is bad, or even mediocre, it can sour the whole experience.

And yet, hotels get no respect. They're always the sidebar, never the feature. And that breaks my heart. 

 

Because I ❤️ hotels.
